McKayla Rose Maroney (also known as "Mack Air Maroney") is an American known gymnast. She took home gold medals with team US Olympic gymnastics team and a silver individual medal during the Summer Olympic Games in 2012. She began gymnastics in her early years because her parents are athletes. The vaulter was specialist, and the only one to take home and defend the gold medal at two consecutive championships. She was dismayed to receive the silver for vault at the Olympics. She wanted for a second chance to claim the gold medal at Rio in 2016.
