Gerina-Piller
Her birth date is March 29, 1985, in Roswell, New Mexico. Gerina is the given name of her. Gerina Stevenson was born to Mexican parents Rita Stevenson (mother) and Alan Stevenson (father). She is Mexican-American by heritage but has American nationality. From a young age the desire for her to be involved in sports was evident. Gerina began to play golf at the age of fifteen. Gerina attended Goddard High School for her higher education in high school. While she was in high school, she took home her first prize in the New Mexico state golf tournament. A volleyball player, she also competed in state competitions. In the year 2003 she was enrolled in the University of Texas. In her final year, she took home every single tournament she entered. While in her undergrad year, she received the Conference USA's player of the year, as well as UTEP's Female Athletic of the Year.
